Our Organic Garden

The Edible Schoolyard project is a cooperative effort between the Eckerd College Environmental Studies program and Lakewood Elementary School to start an organic garden at the Lakewood Elementary School site. This project will set a standard for experiential education as well as provide valuable mentoring opportunities for undergraduate students at Eckerd College.
The project currently includes 14 undergraduate students and Professor Kip Curtis, Environmental Studies professor at Eckerd College.
